Ahead LLC Digital Screen Printer - 2nd Shift in New Bedford, Massachusetts
The Digital Printer is responsible for accessing computerized art files and printing them onto prepared materials and garments. Attention to detail, an eye for color, and good technical ability are essential. The ideal candidate will have a team-oriented mindset, outgoing personality, and eagerness to learn new skills!
Work Schedule & Overtime
2nd Shift Hours: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am - Overtime is mandatory during peak season and based on the needs of the business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Select correct material and cut and spray material to prepare for printing.
Access computerized art files and print onto prepared material.
Apply heat seal to backs of printed materials.
Spray garments to prepare for printing.
Use Direct to Garment (DTG) software to access art files.
Determine placement of artwork on the garment.
Accurately place the garment on the printer to ensure the correct placement of artwork.
Run garment through the printer.
Heat press garment.
Additional duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Basic knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus but not required.
Knowledge of other relevant computer software and systems.
Excellent attention to detail.
Must have an eye for color.
Good technical ability.
Ability to multi-task under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Good problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Must possess initiative, energy, and drive.
Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers and management.
