JDR Cables Asset Coorrdinator in New Bedford, Massachusetts
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Asset Coordinator is responsible for supporting the logistics function within the Service department including, but not limited to, all logistics arrangements for both inbound and outbound goods, arranging site lifts and maintenance of appropriate records. Arrange and coordinate shipments to JDR Customers to support the execution of Service Contracts ensuring materials and equipment are delivered on time. Arrange and coordinate shipments between JDR sites to support the Inter Branch Transfer process. Arrange shipping and the importing of goods coming to JDR with appropriate customs instructions to avoid delays to materials delivery or equipment to sites and avoiding custom hold ups. Maintain records of import instructions for customs and excise to ensure records are available for any future customs and excise audits or investigations. Arrange contract lifts when and where necessary to support the load out, mobilization of materials and equipment from sites. Prepares all documentation required for the export of goods to avoid any delays to delivery of materials and equipment to site and avoiding any custom hold ups. Inspects condition of any shipments (arriving and leaving) and alerts management of any discrepancies or damage. Accurately counts and processes inventory by location, unit count, size, and product type during inventory reconciliation and inbound receiving activities. Verifies proper item on the original packing slip matches the original order. Liaise with Service Coordinators to ensure FST?s have the right kit and PPE to perform their roles offshore. Collaborate with the rest of the Service EMEA team to support the Service EMEA team during periods of leave and in times of higher workloads taking on additional duties driving a real team working approach. Comply with the company?s health and safety policy ensuring all work is carried out with safety as a priority. Perform other duties as assigned.
