Encore Fire Protection Service Manager in Needham, MassachusettsMorocco

Being a Service Manager at Encore means becoming the go-to resource for your respective product line. Excelling in this role requires the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts on a variety of levels whether it be with our technicians in the field, less experienced members of the operations team, or our customers.

Encore is an industry leading, full service fire protection company serving all of New England from offices in Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Our continued growth and success has created the need for a Service Manager to assume a critical role on our Sprinkler Service Team, working from the Needham, Massachusetts office.

At Encore, we are all about hiring on attitude and training for skill. Most of our positions require little or no prior industry experience, but this is not one of those roles. To be our next Service Manager on the Sprinkler Service team you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the sprinkler industry. This experience can come in any combination of field, sales, design, operations and/or management but must total at least 5-years.

A day in the life of a Sprinkler Service Department Manager at Encore may include all or some of the following:

  • Fielding questions from our technicians and offering recommendations to navigate complex service calls

  • Providing product recommendations to our Deficiency Sales Team to facilitate their ability to quote system repairs and remediation steps

  • Effectively communicating with our customers, and taking ownership for resolving service related issues

  • Coaching less-experienced members of your Sprinkler Service team in effort to improve technical and industry based knowledge

  • Actively participating in customer retention efforts, revenue growth and overall department profitability

This is a technical role by definition and the depth of your industry knowledge will be self-evident.
