Job Title: HVAC Maintenance Lead

Job Description

Seeking a licensed HVAC mechanic to join our team. This position is onsite at a private university where you will work closely with the Director of Facilities and the VP of the University. Your main responsibilities include HVAC preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and making minor repairs to all HVAC systems on campus. You will be in charge of the main plant, academic building systems, and individual dorm rooms.

Hard Skills

  • 3+ years of HVAC maintenance/repair experience

  • License in HVAC maintenance

  • Preventative maintenance skills for boilers, chillers, air handlers

  • Basic computer skills for handling work orders

Soft Skills

  • Ability to troubleshoot and identify issues

  • Effective communication skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in NA, Massachusetts.

Work Environment

Position is based on a beautiful, small campus surrounded by the Babson University athletic complex. The college hosts about 400 students during the academic year and a significant number of campers in the summer. The campus comprises approximately 5 buildings, is quiet, and easily accessible from the highway.
