Waters Senior Systems Test Engineer - Smart Connected Products in Milford, Massachusetts
Waters Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Test Engineer to join our Informatics organization. The ideal candidate will have background in chemistry and experience in manual testing of chemistry software applications. The individual will contribute to development of our cloud based IoT applications by comprehensive system testing and providing input for making our solutions more robust.
This candidate will work as part of an Agile team, engage in manual testing, test design and test strategy technical discussions, participate in automation designs, demonstrate problem-solving abilities, and be willing to present and share ideas through global collaboration.
A self-starter attitude, excellent communication, and dedication to innovative technologies are critical to this role.
Design, develop, and execute test plans for functional, integration, and system level testing
Review requirements for testability, trace matrix management
Assess test quality, coverage, and traceability artifacts
Develop test strategies, provide constructive feedback regarding testing best practices
Write and Implement SpecFlow Feature Files
Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience
4+ Years of experience in Chemistry applications testing
Other Required Qualifications
Experience in writing test cases, test plans, test automation, defects reports
Experience in system level testing
Working knowledge of chromatographic systems and applications, industry experience
Demonstrated strong problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
Experience with Waters Empower software
Experience with AWS or other Cloud technologies
Experience with system level testing of Cloud based IoT applications
Familiarity with SpecFlow and Gherkin
