Waters Senior Financial Analyst in Milford, Massachusetts
Waters Corporation is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Commercial Operations and Strategic Account teams within our Global Markets Organization. In this role, the individual will be responsible for business partnership, analysis, reporting, project support, development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and forecasts, as well as month end close duties. This role will report to the Global Markets Finance Director.
Partnership with the Commercial Operations team. This role will have ownership of corporate business case initiatives including frequent model updates, corporate deliverables, and communications with external partners. Candidate will be looked to gather data, draw insights from data, and influence business partners and stakeholders.
Partner with the Commercial Operations team and Strategic Accounts team to prepare the annual expense budget and quarterly expense forecast.
Support and partner with the Strategic Accounts organization by creating and maintain standard reporting, calculation of quarterly/yearly incentives, and various data requests.
Creation of executive-level presentations for quarterly and yearly reviews. Ownership of session inputs.
Perform traditional accounting close duties including journal entries, capital and inventory accounting, resource reporting, variance analysis, etc
Support the AOP process.
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
BS in Finance/Accounting, MBA a plus.
5 years+ related work experience.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis are required.
Experience with SAP, BW or Analysis for Office preferred.
Ability to work globslly, cross functionally and with multiple departments while meeting deadlines in a fast pace environment.
