Tingley Electric Services, Inc HVAC Service Technician- SIGN ON BONUS in Milford, Massachusetts


Tingley Home Services, Inc . formerly Tingley Electric Services, has been steadily growing with a highly- trained team of professionals since 2003. Tingley is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Milford, MA! The Service Tech is responsible for completing all preventative maintenance, repair and tune ups in residential homes. Our culture is all about team, family, and pride. We want people to get home to their families at a reasonable time, so we avoid working nights or weekends. This is a full time, year round position.   • Ability to perform preventive maintenance, tune- ups and troubleshooting services on residential HVAC systems

  • Determine condition of HVAC system ( furnaces, A/C, Heat pumps mini splits)

  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve any requests or concerns that come up in a timely manner

  • Maintain a clean and organized job site

  • Replace parts on equipment

  • Inspect and test components of systems to ensure they are operable and safe

  • Obtain and maintain required certifications

  • Participate in department meetings and trainings

  • Maintain relationships with customers and follow company guidelines


  • High school diploma or GED required; current EPA universal certificate

  • Previous HVAC experience, service/ maintenance preferred

  • Ability to build strong relationships with the customer and display excellent communication skills

  • Ability to manage your workflow in a timely and consistent manager

  • Ability to lift to 55 pounds

  • Ability to work independently

  • Knowledgeable about all safety requirement, HVAC codes

  • Valid driver's license and no citations in the last 3 years

  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
