Tingley Home Services is looking for a full time Customer Service Representative to join our fun team in our Milford, MA office! This person will be the first point of contact for our company. They will drive customer satisfaction by being upbeat, helpful and positive in their interactions with our customers.

The ideal candidate has a customer-first mindset and aims to deliver high-quality service in every customer interaction. This role is an integral part in our company and the candidate must have a genuine "team spirit" attitude! This is an entry level position that has the potential to grow into a more advanced role with added responsibilities as we experience slow and steady growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle high volume of incoming calls and messages (30-50 calls per day)

  • Interact with customers by phone, email and social media

  • Assess customer needs and schedule appointments, estimates and assist with inputting payment information into ServiceTitan.

  • Coordinate outgoing calls and rescheduling with efficiency and a positive attitude

  • Conduct follow up calls “happy calls” after service to confirm customer satisfaction

  • Work effectively with other departments re: customer needs/issues

  • Handle customer complaints, follow up calls and customer satisfaction communication

  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies

  • Other office tasks as assigned by management team

    Qualifications and Skills:

  • Some experience in customer service or call center is strongly preferred

  • Experience in the service industry a plus but not required

  • Strong phone handling and active listening skills

  • Ability to shift gears quickly and open to learning new tasks

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Possesses a high level of accountability, patience and initiative

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment effectively

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and/ or Google Workspace

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check

  • High school diploma/GED required
