Description:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Primary responsibility is to champion the data integrity to ensure an efficient flow of production data through the SAP system to provide uninterrupted supply of product through the system processes. The Production Analyst will be responsible for individual plant and production performance reporting, i.e. running equipment efficiency, uptime, downtime, capex and trend analysis. The incumbent will be seen as an “SAP Super User” and “Data Gatekeeper” who will oversee and assist with the administrative workflow, material creation and management of inventory continuities.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Works closely with plant and area managers/clerks to develop analytical and technical skills to improve inventory and production reporting, forecasting and management

  • When discrepancies arise, the Production Analyst works with plant management to close gaps and make necessary system changes

  • Collects and compiles production data, creates process orders, validates data entries, and reviews production inputs; verifies monthly production volumes and conducts routine inventory surveys.

  • Monitors and balances the book to physical inventory at each site at the product level.

  • As an SAP super-user, maintains SAP master data for recipes, materials, resources, equipment and functional location registry; responsible for accuracy of SAP Equipment List

  • Be a resource to production teams for training, technical assistance, follow-up, troubleshooting and special projects.

  • Supports key division activities including but not limited to fixed asset maintenance, inventory surveys, capital projects, health & safety, environmental, MSHA compliance, performance, etc.

  • Will assist/perform field asset and safety audits.

  • Other duties as assigned.

RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER JOBS

This role reports to the General Manager Aggregates; interfaces as a liaison with Finance, Manufacturing, and Performance groups.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education: High school diploma or 5 years of equivalent experience.

Additional Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree

Field of Study Preferred: Mining, Engineering, Manufacturing or other science-based field

Required Work Experience: 1 - 3+ years Mining experience, past internships considered

Required Training/Certifications: First Aid / AED preferred; training to be provided

Licenses Required: Must be able to obtain or already have a MA Driver’s License and an FAA-certified Drone Pilot License

Required Computer and Software Skills: MS Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word), Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Forms, Gmail)

Preferred Computer and Software Skills: SAP, Salesforce.com, APEX, SICC APP, QlikView, Power BI

Travel Requirements: Local travel 50% within region

Additional Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, process-oriented

  • Strong analytical skills, research, problem solving and decision making

  • Proficiency with various computer applications is a definite asset

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
