Multi-Shifts Monday - Friday (8+ hour shifts) or Monday ? Wednesday/Thursday (12 hours shifts) . GERSON, a global supplier of filtration products such as N95 respirators and consumables used in surface finishing, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time and Machine Maintenance Mechanic ? Technician to join our team either on the day or night shift. The selected candidate will be comfortable working on, troubleshooting and diagnosing operating problems in complex high-speed, automated converting equipment encompassing utilizing both PLC and traditional mechanical controls in a wide range of processes such as ultrasonic assembly, computer vision inspection systems, web and tension controls, rotary die-cutting, hot-melt gluing and in-line packaging systems. MAINTENANCE MECHANIC ? TECHNICIAN is responsible for: Perform routine preventive maintenance as scheduled and in a timely manner to ensure continuous efficient operation Maintain plant equipment to provide efficient operations Knowledge of tools ranging from common hand tools and power tools to electrical testing devices and precision measuring instruments Practice good housekeeping of the maintenance shop and other common work areas to maintain a safe work environment Inspect, operate, and test equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions Assist in the selection and installation of new equipment and equipment upgrades Assemble, repair, and install various electronic components, motors and mechanical drives, chains, and other mechanical devices. Knowledge of operating machine shop equipment, such as milling machines including Proto Trak, lathes, grinders, welding etc. Machine Shop skills a plus.
