Globus Medical, Inc. Inventory Control Clerk in Methuen, Massachusetts

Position Summary:

The Inventory Associate will perform standard inventory warehouse functions. This includes picking items for orders, putting away inventory receipts and replenishing inventory from bulk storage to a picking location.

Essential Functions:

  • Processes all orders received on the same day for shipment

  • Performs daily cycle counts to verify accurate system quantities and ensure the shelf life of sterile products

  • Bags and bulk stores incoming inventory

  • Replenishes items from bulk to picking locations

  • Picks items and sets them aside to fulfill customer and in-house departmental requests

  • Enters item data related to order transactions into the software system

  • Maintains the Finished Goods Warehouse in a clean and orderly manner

  • Ensures inventory items are managed on a first-in/first-out basis

  • Identifies, picks, and organizes surgical sets from the proper locations

  • Adheres to the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, the MedTech Code, and all other company policies

  • Ensures compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role

  • Represents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum one-year experience working in a Finished Goods Warehouse environment

  • Ability to follow procedures as well as take initiative; team player

  • Experience using Radio Frequency (RF) scanners

  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

  • Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

  • Required to possess specific visons abilities, including: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focus
