Edwards Lifesciences Sr. Manager, Employer Brand and Talent Experience in Massachusetts

The Senior Manager of Employer Brand and Talent Experience will have the incredible opportunity to bring this function to life for Edwards Lifesciences. The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading the development, planning and execution of the global strategy and initiatives for the talent value proposition, regional and segment talent brand strategy and execution, recruitment marketing initiatives and events, as well as the development of the talent lifecycle, experiences strategy and framework.

This Senior Manager will play a critical role in attracting and engaging talent who share this same passion for patients and innovation.

This role can sit onsite in Irvine in a hybrid setting or be full time remote.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement employer brand strategies, programs and tools for effective and compelling employer branding, talent strategies and employee experiences

  • Drive results, direction of team and initiatives through careful data analysis, research and a highly consultative team approach

  • Manage the Edwards Careers internal and external sites, and other digital tools to ensure content is current, relevant, and engaging

  • Strong understanding of competitive landscape as well as latest innovations/trends in both talent brand and talent experience across EMEACLA, JAPAC and the US

  • Evangelize and manage the Edwards employer brand proposition, brand voice and brand position with both internal and external partners to increase social reach and engagement across all channels

  • Partner with internal TA teams on recruitment marketing initiatives and materials, conferences and talent segment specific branding initiatives

  • Create employer value proposition toolkits/self-service materials and repository for domestic and global teams

  • Experience in strategic talent communication (both internal experience and external branding)

  • Experience in developing audience personas and conducting needs analyses by job family

  • Strong understanding and application of Design Thinking principles to talent-related challenges

  • Experience as lead facilitator in employee workshops, focus groups and interviews

  • Build effective relationships with internal and external partners and key stakeholders across all locations

  • Interface and network with external experts to understand the market and emerging tools, trends and opportunities

  • Manage talent acquisition budget including making recommendations on investments and ensure funds are utilized strategically and meet project deliverables

  • Define measurements for success, assessing and measuring the effectiveness of our branding channels, including social media, our careers sites and hiring campaigns, and report back to key partners on the results of branding initiatives

  • Authentically tell the story of Edwards and the employee experience using a broad variety of branding channels

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in employment branding, marketing or HR experience; or a Master’s degree and a minimum of 8 years relevant experience in employment branding, marketing or HR experience.

  • 8+ years of experience in employer branding and talent experience

  • Experience leading teams and developing talent

  • Must have demonstrated success in building and implementing new programs and strategies

  • Must have strong project management skills

  • Experience managing and partnering with diverse teams across global locations

  • Must have excellent written and oral communications background

  • Ability to travel up to 25% globally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven recent successful experience leading an international and geographically dispersed team within employment branding

  • Demonstrated experience working as part of cross-functional teams across a global, matrixed organization

  • Previous experience managing agency vendors and third parties

  • Previous experience budgeting and managing costs

  • Ability to understand, balance and articulate both tactical and strategic work

  • Solid quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated comfort with ambiguity and organizational change/growth; balanced perspectives

Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.

The base pay range for this position is $126,000 to $147,000
