The Product Manager reports to the Group Product Manager of Biotherapeutics and supports the marketing efforts for the drug substance and biologics analytical service offerings. He/she supports the tactical marketing plan execution and market data analysis within Catalent’s fastest growing business portfolio. Possibility to be hired as full Product Manager if applicant exceeds the hiring criteria and expectations.

In concert with Catalent’s Patient First philosophy, this position is key in our efforts toward continuous improvement of our processes & information flow which will allow quality drug products to reach patients safely and efficiently.

Location: USA (Somerset NJ, Madison WI, Bloomington IN, Boston MA, or

Raleigh/Durham NC preferred)

The Role

  • Work with product managers and central marketing resources to translate business and marketing objectives into marketing tactics

  • Together with corporate marketing resources, support execution of tactics to increase market awareness and lead generation

  • Work with product managers to create content for digital advertising (webinars, social media, eBlasts, other lead generation)

  • Work with product managers and subject matter experts to repurpose the content library – including case studies, white papers, articles, interviews, and press releases

  • Work with the central team to develop and execute a plan for tradeshows, print advertising, press releases, graphic design, and other needs

  • Create, update, and track content, together with the lead Product Managers, for ISG lead follow-up. This includes managing the campaigns, timing, and review of customer lists and aligning with the Inside Sales Group lead for all customer interaction

  • Create an analytics dashboard for a yearly review of ISG lead success. Work with the digital marketing team for SFDC coordination

  • Work closely with business development colleagues to ensure awareness of marketing plans and activities and gather input for the development of effective sales tools.

  • Work with Customer Experience Team to schedule and support site videos and tours for various locations

The Candidate

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Science related field (Master’s degree preferred)

  • 2-5 years of marketing or communications experience in Biologics CDMO; drug substance or biologics analytical industry experience preferred.

  • Strong analytical and project management skills, and oral and written communication skills; Broad understanding of brand and product management principles
