Job description:
Currently seeking a Solutions Architect with expertise in Supply Chain | Logistics with in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Retail and Third-Party Logistics (3PL).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and architect end-to-end solutions in CPG, Retail, and 3PL sectors.
Craft strategic plans for integrating supply chain technologies such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Inventory Management Systems.
Ensure solutions align with industry standard methodologies and client-specific requirements.
Engage with clients to understand their supply chain challenges, objectives, and business processes.
Perform detailed analysis of clients' existing supply chain infrastructure to identify improvement opportunities.
Translate client needs into actionable technical specifications and roadmaps.
Lead multi-functional project teams in constructing solutions.
Provide authority guidance and direction throughout project lifecycles, from initiation to deployment and post-implementation support.
Conduct presentations and workshops for collaborators, including clients, internal teams, and partners
Develop training materials and programs to ensure users are proficient with new systems and technologies.
Act as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries and support related to solutions.
Collaborate with software vendors, technology partners, and third-party service providers.
Develop positive collaborations across the supply chain ecosystem.
Implement quality control processes to ensure solutions meet or exceed industry standards.
Regularly review and update solution architectures to reflect changing business needs and technological advancements.
Advocate for and implement standard methodologies in SCM and solution architecture.
Required Skills:
15 years validated experience in crafting and implementing supply chain solutions, with specific expertise in CPG, Retail, and/or 3PL.
Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Understanding of global supply chain dynamics, regulatory compliance, and industry-specific challenges.
Demonstrated experience with software platforms like WCS, WES, WMS, TMS, etc.; their architecture patterns and implementation.
Knowledgeable of devices and hardware ecosystem within a manufacturing/warehouse/shipping environment and data analytics tools to use data to solve supply chain problems
Knowledge of new technologies impacting supply chain (ML, AI, IoT, blockchain).
Outstanding communication and social skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse partners.
Leadership experience with the ability to guide and inspire project teams.
Strong analytical skills, with the capability to solve problems and develop innovative solutions.
Thorough with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Experience in leading large-scale, multi-functional projects with a proven track record of success.
Skilled in project planning, resource management, and risk mitigation
Ability to adapt to evolving market trends and technology shifts.
Commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of industry developments.
Certifications in supply chain management, project management, or relevant technologies would be a plus.
