CVS Health Clinical Product Design Advisor in Massachusetts
We have an exciting opportunity at CVS Health for an internal clinical product development role on the Chronic Care Product team. As a Clinical Product Design Advisor on the Chronic Care team, you will help define the strategic roadmap for new chronic care products and enhancements. You will also help define and prioritize the clinical strategy in partnership with our commercialization team and medical directors. You will work hand in hand with analytics and functional development teams to evaluate clinical impact and value and develop requirements so that specific product enhancements can go from ideation through build. In all aspects, you will use data to inform decisions. Some of your key responsibilities will include:- Using data-driven insights and a deep understanding of customer needs, member needs, and market dynamics to identify and prioritize the clinical enhancements and services that will drive differentiation and clinical value creation- Working closely with our Medical Affairs teams to translate Chronic Care clinical guidelines and new advancements into product design opportunities- Collaborating across the organization to identify areas of collaboration and design solutions that will drive clinical and financial results- Partnering with commercialization, marketing, and sales teams to represent the product’s clinical design within marketing materials and client presentations- Reviewing clinical literature so that you are up to date on clinical advancements within the Chronic Care space- Using your analytical and innovative skills to then apply lessons learned and propose new clinical product ideasTo be successful, you will need to bring with you a natural intellectual curiosity and tenacity with the ability and willingness to learn on the fly to understand and solve complex problems. Your clinical knowledge will be tested, including common medical terminology and the components of the healthcare system; as well as chronic disease management and complications including cardiovascular disease and Type 2 diabetes. - At least 5 years of professional or clinical work experience within the healthcare industry.* 1 or more years of clinical program or product development experience

- Clinical Background and relevant degree are preferred* Strong quantitative, analytical, critical thinking, organizational, and written and oral communication skills* Knowledge of data structure and usage in health insurance including an understanding of data quality and reporting practices* Knowledge of clinical guidelines including ADA, AHA, HEDIS, and other quality/clinical performance measurements and governing bodies* Understanding of connected devices and wearable technologies to track patient biomarkers, promote patient engagement, and improve outcomes* Ability to prepare material and presentations for internal stakeholders in a way that adds value, is easily understood by others who may not have the same clinical background or expertise. * Ability to drive strategic vision and development of clinical product
- Bachelors Degree is required* Masters or Clinical Degree is preferred* Equivalent Combination of education and experience may be considered
