Job Description:

Arrow is seeking an experienced Brand Market Intelligence (MI) Analyst to join its commercial team to support Arrow brand awareness and marketing efforts. The role of the MI team at Arrow is to understand what drives the procurement of enterprise commercial off the shelf products and leverage that knowledge to help software and hardware manufacturers shorten sales cycles.

What You’ll Be Doing :

As a MI Analyst, you will report to and work in close collaboration with the MI Manager on a variety of projects. Your primary role will be to support the ‘Marketing of Arrow.’ This position plays a key role in the use of data to drive decision-making around our digital marketing strategy. Principal duties will include providing data driven support to marketing campaigns that promote Arrow’s brand, prospecting and generating new sales leads based on propensity indicators, analyzing metrics, and identifying trends. You will also coordinate with the marketing and communications teams to improve marketing results.

Your secondary role will be that of a traditional market intelligence analyst. In this capacity you will develop and deliver data- and market trends- driven analysis, presentations, tools, and market overviews for internal and external sales audiences. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced data analytics, technology-savvy, and self-motivated professional to work closely with major players in the technology industry while expanding their expertise and relationships.

The ideal location for this role is at our Global Headquarters in Centennial, CO however, this role can be located anywhere in the US as remote for the right candidate.

  • The Brand Market Intelligence Analyst will conduct research on behalf of the marketing and sales departments to uncover potential new leads and help shape Arrow’s value driven marketing strategy

  • Implement a range of market and brand intelligence methodologies and applications to help guide research

  • Assist in the development of marketing plans

  • Research, prospect and qualify new business opportunities utilizing internal and external lead databases and resources

  • Understand the external market and competitive landscape and uncover new sources of opportunity for customer acquisition

  • Contribute to development of new research deliverables designed to support sales and marketing activities

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with the appropriate stakeholders to ensure business value is being derived from Market Intelligence deliverables.

  • Proactively create and deliver individual research projects to those stakeholders, to provide peers with conclusions drawn from data mining, analysis, and profiling

  • Support strategic planning efforts focused on new growth to create or enhance go-to-market strategies.

  • Supports MI team with special projects performing data mining, analysis, and reporting to support manufacturer/partner initiatives

  • Performs primary and secondary research to obtain information

  • Proven experience distilling complex concepts into easily understandable information to support decision-making processes

  • Leverages multiple resources for research purposes, including internal and external databases, trade publications and online sources to gather information, and draw meaningful conclusions that can be leveraged for business value

  • Leads efforts to provide Arrow manufacturers with actionable intelligence on commercial IT sales opportunities and relevant manufacturer and partner data

What We Are Looking For:

  • Typically requires 3–5 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience with data analytics, statistical analysis, and have some experience in data science

  • We are looking for a personable, curious, and insightful Brand Market Intelligence Analyst who has had experience with research and analysis

  • The ideal candidate will have interest in the software/hardware/electronic components industry and will have worked in a sales environment

The Skills That Will Help You Succeed Even More:

  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as PowerBI, Alteryx, SQL, etc.

  • Proven experience building and managing lead generation models for prospecting high propensity new customers

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate data into digestible and actionable information.

  • Ability to analyze trends and drivers to then draw conclusions and recommendations based on desired business outcomes

  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel

  • Able to work independently; receive minimal guidance

  • Knowledge of the commercial IT market, procurement process and business development lifecycle

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$32.45 - $39.66

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
