This role is accountable to build a team and deliver all required IS partnership aligned to a specific Division, with deep understanding of the business and utilization of technology to accelerate commercial performance and results. The Divisional IS leader will define the IS strategy, participate in IS enterprise governance as well as be accountable to run and maintain required services.

PositionOverview:

Vice President, Information Services is a strategic business partner for the breast & Skeletal Health Division accountable to define the strategic roadmap of the team’s technology roadmap supporting Sales, Services, Marketing, Communications & Content Management as well as run and maintain the IS services focused on the Division’s needs.

Key objectives for the role include deep understanding of the business functions, collaboration with the business leaders to create the components of the strategic roadmap from thought leadership to strategic execution of major components of the Divisions’ commercial strategies.

Responsible to build a team and manage the support as well as drive continuous improvement of key applications such as Salesforce, etc.This will require partnering across the business, technology stakeholders and strategic partners.Create and maintain a culture that results in a value-based environment across the business as well as in the IS function.

This position can be based in Connecticut or Marlborough MA.

KeyResponsibilities include:

  • Identify correct technologyapplications to meet or exceed commercial performance of a specific division;participate in IS governance and priority meetings to determine appropriate technologyroadmap for the specific business/ division.

  • Bring in innovative solutionpartners and negotiate creative partnerships for a multi-faceted delivery modelthat differentiates the way in which business is run and to be visionary leaderof capitalizing on future opportunities

  • Build and lead a team accountable tosupport the implementation and on-going utilization of the division’stechnology applications, such as Salesforce.com

  • Create andmaintain a culture that results in a value-based environment across thebusiness as well as in the IS function.

  • Drive new functionality andcontinuous improvement efforts for the commercial technology applicationssupporting the roadmap

  • Drive large scale Oracleintegrations spanning multiple functions as needed

  • Bring innovative ideas to expand thebusiness and operations and ensure ability to execute and drive innovation

  • Serve as a member of the leadershipteam and key advisor to the SVP, Chief Information Officer in defining anddirecting the strategy, key priorities and decisions for the commercial business / division

  • Own and execute all aspects of the ISroadmap for these key business functions, continuously aligning strategies andinitiatives with broader global technology & operations functions and linesof business.

  • Prepare strategic presentations forsenior stakeholder groups including Divisional leadership teams

  • Develop and monitor key performancemetrics (KPI) partnering with IS leaders to ensure management reporting andoperational reviews focus on results and actions against KPI.

  • Lead and work in cross-functionalteams to evaluate, provide insight and drive strategic outcomes that have thegreatest impact on the Company. Enable the transfer of strategic ideas intooperational decisions.

  • Drive active business engagement indeveloping strategies to advance and accelerate growth and supporting Hologic’sbusiness.

  • Develop talent with a keen abilityto optimize resources and anticipate future needs

  • Manage complexbusiness relationships within a matrix organizational structure and ensurehighest delivery of expert solutions and service to drive results

This person is a self-motivated individual with proven IS strategic and operational experience demonstrating excellent team management and organizational skills with the following qualifications:

  • 20+ years of experience collaborating and influencing executive level leaders within a sales, marketing, commercial function

  • 20+ years of experience working with Sales & Marketing applications including Salesforce.com

  • Engineering and/or Computer Science bachelor’s degree required

  • 5-10 years of consulting experience preferred

  • 10+ years of project management experience

  • Demonstrated holistic understanding of systems including business process management, requirements, testing, data conversion, change management, and cutover strategies

  • Experience managing P&L

  • Experience building, developing, leading diverse teams comprised of direct staff, 3 rd party technical partners and contract staff

  • Proven success working in an innovative environment and in the development of digital products and services

  • Experience working in a complex global organization with proven effectiveness operating in matrix organizations

  • Proven ability to translate broad corporate next generation strategies into clear, specific business deliverables and solutions

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize the evolving future of an industry, and to develop insights into consumer trends and disruptive technology, using data and evidence to define impact on businesses and/or a relevant sector

  • Demonstrated excellence in talent management ensuring building and developing a team to meet the current and future needs of the business.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, appropriate for all levels of organization

  • Proven collaboration and partnership skills with business and IS partners to drive development of the technology roadmap, prioritization of application enhancements, and the ability to drive change

  • Strongrelationship management skills including ability to set expectations, deliver and drive results
