Job Title: TECHNOLOGIST CHEMIST

Pay: $21-25 per hour

Responsibilities

• Be proficient in physical and chemical analytical techniques, including spectroscopy (FTIR, UV-Vis), thermal analysis (DSC, TGA) and chromatography including sample preparation

• Develop, validate, and document new analytical methods and ensure proper transfer to and training of end-users

• Safely operate and maintain analytical laboratory equipment

• Think creatively, trouble shoot and work collaboratively to develop innovative solutions based on sound scientific analysis

• Manage time and projects effectively and efficiently, cooperating across analytical competencies

• Generate analytical reports to meet R&D, product qualification, and competitive analysis benchmarking needs

• Fulfill all requirements of group, site, and company safety, ethics, and quality programs

Required Qualifications

• BS with experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field

• Demonstrated ability to accomplish tasks independently, integrating functional guidance from senior associates

• Willing to learn quickly and adopt new skill sets in multiple analytical competencies

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with spectroscopy, thermal analysis and chromatographic/separations techniques including data interpretation

• Experience with electronic material and UV sensitive materials analyses

• Experience with Microscopy analysis (SEM) is a plus
