Insight Global Sr Supplier Quality Engineer in Marlborough, Massachusetts

Job Description

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will engage in weekly meetings with fellow engineers to prioritize and address critical topics. Your role includes collaborating with suppliers and team leads, developing various deliverables such as complaint inspections, and documentation of finished goods. You will be instrumental in maintaining quality systems, conducting supplier audits, and documenting the outcomes. Regular visits to suppliers are expected for business reviews, audit-related activities, or quality issue resolutions. Your expertise will guide suppliers, ensuring current partnerships are nurtured and potential new suppliers are evaluated effectively. This role does not require sourcing new suppliers but involves a thorough assessment of preselected candidates.

We are seeking a dedicated individual with 5 or more years of experience to join our team in a hybrid role, focusing on the management and support of our European and Asian suppliers. This position arises as we transition to maintaining design ownership of our expanding product range, previously held by various suppliers. The ideal candidate will be based in our Maple Grove office and will be required on-site three days a week, from Tuesday to Thursday, offering considerable flexibility. Your role will be pivotal in managing the supplier relationships and overseeing the design aspects of our products. This is a permanent role paying between $85,000/Year and $116,000/Year.

Skills and Requirements

-BS in engineering or similar life sciences degree

-Regulated industry background: medical device, automotive, aeronautical, semiconductor, or other

-Project management / leadership experience: the ability to influence cross-functional global teams

-Experience in process validation, design controls, and risk management -Medical device engineering experience

-Quality Systems experience null
