This position joins an important and key part of the Hologic finance organization that provides financial analysis and decision support to the corporate division and management teams. This work includes all necessary financial models, forecasting, reporting, business analyses and other projects to ensure that management teams are making sound financial decisions. The team is highly engaged and passionate in delivering the critical business insights and information for their corporate partners.

Dutiesand Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with businesspartners to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts to set performanceexpectations for corporate departments.

  • Analyze current andhistorical trends for key performance measurements, identify opportunities forfinancial improvement and provide recommendations to management

  • Apply knowledge ofbusiness systems and processes and leverage best practices when working withbusiness partners to solve business issues

  • Prepare total companyreporting packages including standard reports and variance commentary

  • Support the preparationof Executive level and Board of Directors presentations by creating designatedschedules and materials

  • Increase the use ofautomation across the organization to streamline and improve new and existingmanagement reports

  • Assist with theimplementation of budgeting and forecasting software tools

  • Provide financialmodeling, financial analysis and ad-hoc projects as required

  • Highly motivatedindividual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Superior businesspartnering skills and building solid working relationships

  • Solid working knowledgeof accounting principals and financial modeling measures (NPV, IRR, etc)

  • Bias for action anddemonstrated track record for delivering results in fast paced and changingenvironment

  • Strong interpersonalskills with ability to communicate professionally to all levels of theorganization

  • Excellentorganizational skills with a strong attention to detail

  • Commitment to learningand growth mindset

  • Proficient with Microsoftoffice products

  • Experience managing,analyzing, and summarizing large data sets in Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with ERPsystem (Oracle is strongly preferred)

  • Preferred experiencewith BI systems, such as Hyperion / Essbase, Qlik View and Qlik Sense

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree inFinance or Accounting

Experience:

  • 5 years relatedfinancial experience
