From FP&A partners to our accounts payable teams, our finance and accounting department is responsible for high-quality services to our internal partners, business leads and external suppliers. Our Finance and Accounting department is instrumental in supporting our business with the information it needs to make strategic decisions enabling us to do what we do best.
Hologic is seeking to add a Sr. Financial Analyst. The Sr. Financial Analyst will be an integral team member responsible for providing critical analysis and insights to help drive business decisions at the divisional level. Day to day would look like the following:
Analyze monthly financial operating results and variances to forecast
Arm management with data, interpretation and analysis needed to make informed business decisions
Advise key stakeholders & business partners by providing robust financial analysis and ad-hoc analysis as needed
Lead monthly business reviews and communicate with key stakeholders on performance versus budget/forecast to ensure continued alignment with strategic objectives.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the expense drivers and trends of the cost centers he/she supports
Collaborate with other members of the FP&A team to produce monthly and quarterly financial presentations for the executive team
Support the annual strategic plan and budget process, functional reviews and executive management presentations and communications
Research finance and accounting issues
Extract and manipulate raw data for analysis or conclusions
Do you have…
Strong financial acumen with exceptional analytical skills
Excellent oral/written communication skills with the ability to summarize large volumes of data into effective key points
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a cross functional environment and communicate with all levels of the organization
Ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects with varying deadlines
Intermediate experience with manipulating data using Microsoft Excel
Understanding of ERP systems & Planning tools, preferably Oracle & Hyperion
Familiarity with financial valuation methods
General understanding of Accounting and Finance Principles
Education: Bachelor’s degree required in a finance-related field
Experience: 3-5 years of related financial experience
