Hiring: Roadside Assistance Team Member

Reliable candidates that are able to provide excellent customer service under a variety of circumstances

Job Description:

  • Receive and record requests for emergency road service and respond to inquiries about products, services, and membership benefits by performing the following duties:

  • answer incoming emergency road services call, obtains detailed information and enters information into database such as name of club member, location of disabled vehicle, and nature of vehicle malfunction

  • respond to calls from members and potential members with questions about company products, services and membership benefits

  • cross sell upgrades and recommend products and services

  • relay billing discrepancies to customer care specialists

  • obtain payment information and enters into the database

  • add or delete members to master coverage

  • provide driving directions in incoming callers by using direction software

  • communicate positively in difficult or emotional situations

Top Performers Have:

  • computer skills (Microsoft office, etc.)

  • Customer service experience (retail, call center)

  • Reliability

  • Empathy (dealing with emergency situations)

Shifts:

  • Shifts vary based on candidate needs, please address when inquiring about the position.

  • During peak times (ex. winter/summer) some will be needed to come in up to two hours earlier or stay two hours later depending on current volume

  • This will not be a surprise circumstance as it will be communicated well before your shift

Education:

  • High School Diploma
