The Project Co Ordinator is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day lab operations, ensuring that client projects are progressing, and systems are set-up and maintained according to quality standards and SOPs. This includes, but not limited to, ordering laboratory supplies, calibration of laboratory equipment, maintenance of inventory database, and supporting both scientists and project managers.

This position reports to the PMO Global Director and is part of the Project management Organization within hardware Solutions and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for ordering, receiving, storage and distribution of all reagents, supplies, consumables, equipment, parts, paper, forms, and any other inventory item(s) related to the operation of the laboratory. With ensuring that the laboratory staff are aware of goods ordered, received, stored and coordinates the distribution of supplies within the laboratory daily.

  • Maintains an efficient system of inventory control to ensure proper levels of supplies in the laboratory available for use while allowing for no wastage of inventory, reagents or products due to shelf storage expiration. This includes conducting inventory usage analysis and re-setting current min/max and re-order points, ensuring it aligns with team’s needs and future customer projects.

  • Consistently evaluate inventory cost and participate in vendor negotiations on contract renewals additionally Maintain, evaluate, and improve on 6S standards of lab and storage areas and lab efficiency to optimize current capacity including SQUDIP.

  • The candidate shall assist in maintaining all equipment repair and maintenance records ensuring that all equipment maintenance occurs according to schedule as required.

  • The candidate will coordinate the shipment/receiving of client inventory or biological material.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or High School diploma with equivalent experience.

  • A minimum of one year of hands-on laboratory experience in a BSL-2 environment or related lab experience.

  • Ability to work independently coordinating laboratory logistics.

  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, troubleshooting, and development skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Competency in computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Knowledge of fundamental laboratory techniques and GMP.

  • Industry experience and knowledge of supply chain/logistics is a plus.
