Oracle Product Manager/Strategy 4-ProdDev in Marlborough, Massachusetts

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

A Functional Architect within the Engagement Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE) works alongside Development, Support, Field Customer Success Managers, and Systems Integrators to start customers off with a solid solution architecture, design, and implementation plan that aligns the customer’s business requirements to an Oracle solution that will exceed their expectations. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in architecting, designing, and planning the implementation of complex sales (Sales Force Automation, Partner Relationship Management, Customer Data Master) and B2B service and service knowledge management applications integrated into enterprise data centers. The candidate will have deep experience in the business environment and process supported by Oracle’s sales and B2B service products.

Oracle Product Development Sales Cloud CoE team members over time become the Oracle experts assisting a broad field organization of trained, competent implementation delivery consultants from leading Systems Integrators, including Oracle Consulting, working alongside Oracle’s Field Customer Success Managers and Oracle Support. Most CoE team members have years of experience in Consulting, Pre-sales, or Product Management on Oracle Sales Cloud, CRM On Demand, Oracle Siebel, Oracle NetSuite, Oracle's E-Business Suite or other enterprise software

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assess client business requirements and work closely with customer, their chosen implementation partner to provide long-term functional solutions based on Oracle's CX Sales and B2B Service Cloud.

  • Lead Oracle CX Sales and B2B Service enablement boot camps for clients & partners.

  • Drive customer functional requirements and CX Sales & B2B Service best practices adoption.

  • Work closely with our partner organizations to support & enable their project implementation teams on functional best practices for Oracle Commerce Cloud.

  • Author & review functional specification documentation for implementation project teams.

  • Help clients consistently meet/exceed their CX Sales & B2B Service Cloud goals and metrics

  • Contribute to CX Sales & B2B Service Cloud thought leadership at Oracle.

  • Positively impact client renewals (when applicable).

  • Generate positive feedback from internal teams and leadership.

  • Show continued professional growth and development.
