Job Title: Micro-Assembly Technician

Job Description

The Assembly Technician will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and packaging of microwave components, working under the supervision of the Production Lead. This is a new position within the team, and the roles and responsibilities can be expected to evolve with time and experience. Will be working a considerable amount of time under a microscope.

Hard Skills

• Comfortable using small hand tools/working under a microscope periodically throughout the day

• Assemble microwave components according to written and verbal work instructions provided by production supervisor and engineering staff

• Perform assembly tasks and inspections of small parts, often while using a microscope

• Use a wire bonder to make electrical connections within the component being assembled

• Work with computer-automated test equipment to perform various tests of assembled components and record test data

• Perform quality inspection of finished product

• Complete production/tracking documentation as required

• Operate a small reflow soldering oven when required

• Perform soldering of small parts by hand when required

• Use various adhesives, often with a hot plate, for assembly

Work Environment

Working at your own work station assembling off written work instructions

Hours : 6 am - 4 pm , Monday - Thursday (10 hour shifts)
