Our client in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Skilled Machinist to join their team. As a Skilled Machinist, you will be part of the Production Department working with the Quality and Engineering Teams. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead and motivate others, great attention to detail, and a focus on quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Skilled Machinist

Location: Marlborough, MA

Pay Range: $29 - $37/hr. DOE

What’s the Job?

• Review job specifications by reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches or drawings to formulate production process. Determine sequence of operation number and type of cuts required, and method of set-up.

• Prepare parts for machining, program computer and milling machines in Mastercam, and operate variety of manual and automatic machines.

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on machines and repair malfunctioning shop equipment and machines.

• Recognize problems relative to unusual materials, machine settings, tools, product specifications, and/or impractical design to aid engineers in producing the part of highest quality.

• Program the Electrical Discharge Machine (EDM), Anilam computer and CNC milling machines by entering part dimensions, tolerance, and required cuts into system; monitor parts throughout the production process.

What’s Needed?

• 10-14 years of related experience

• Bachelor's Degree

• Positive team-oriented attitude

• Mastercam expertise

• EDM experience
