Sunovion Director Market Access Marketing in Marlborough, Massachusetts
Sunovion Pharmaceuticals is looking for a Director of Market Access Marketing to join our Commercial Team in Marlborough, MA
The Director will be responsible for owning the customer experience for some of the largest payers in the United States (Optum/United/AARP, CVS/Aetna and the downstream accounts affiliated with these plans) and will be responsible for all in-line and pipeline brands relevant to these customers. They will collaboratively develop a customer specific or segment specific marketing plan to enhance customer engagement to achieve Sunovion, account and product goals.
This individual will work closely with Product Therapeutic Leads, HEOR Teams, and other internal stakeholders to execute market access customer engagement strategies. This individual acts as a critical liaison to our Account Director teams and will be expected to attend team meetings, attend/lead conferences and meet with aligned Market Access customers.
Essential Functions:
Collaborates with business partners across the organization to develop and execute customer engagement strategies and engagement of activities
Engages with brand partners to identify early inputs for brand strategies
Works in close collaboration with the Product Therapeutic Leads, HEOR teams and other internal stakeholders to drive market access customer engagement activities
Owns the customer experience
Has a global understanding of Sunovion therapeutic areas and brands
Ascertains customer needs and prioritizes opportunities
Develops and executes the overarching marketing plans for their aligned customers, segment or channel
Acts as a critical liaison to our Account Director teams and will be expected to attend team meetings, attend/lead conferences and meet with aligned Market Access Customers
Work with internal and external segment or channel experts to identify leading trends, market dynamics and translate into meaningful recommendations for Sunovion
Design and conduct research along with Commercial Analytics team to aid in the development of sound market access business strategies
Participate in Medical, Legal, Regulatory and Compliance review processes
Effectively manage budgets and project timelines
Represent Sunovion and Market Access as a trusted advisor to both internal and external stakeholders
Minimum Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required:
Bachelors Degree Required
Minimum of 10 years experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry, with a minimum of 5 years within the Market Access. Must have experience in at least of two areas: Market Access Marketing (priority), Brand Marketing, Account Management, Pharmacy or Integrated Delivery Systems/Systems of Care.
Management of direct reports desirable, but not a requirement
Capable of building and leading initiatives, teams, consensus from the ground up
Operates and strategizes with the customer experience in mind
Comprehensive understanding of US healthcare system and influencers
Strong Analytical skills including experience in conducting research, data mining, modeling and analysis
Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to identify problems/barriers and quickly assimilate information to develop actionable and effective opportunities and solutions Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity in a highly matrixed environment
Results oriented with excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to collaborate across functions and seek diverse perspectives
Thought leader with a possibility mindset to innovate and generate new opportunities to deliver on the customer experience
Intellectual curiosity combined with a strong market and customer orientation to identify breakthrough opportunities to both customer and Sunovion goals
