What you’ll do
Reporting to Cytiva’s VP, Finance Transition, the DBSL (Finance), as a key member of the Finance team, will partner with process leads and managers within Cytiva in all its locations including any third-party professional services that support Cytiva Finance. This person will work with the Cytiva Finance leadership to continuously improve finance efficiency through continuous identification, prioritization of capability gaps and implementation of SWK through use of core DBS tools. This includes championing and ensuring a consistent and pervasive use of DBS within Cytiva Finance.
The DBSL provides coaching, training and project leadership to enable process improvements and sustainment of stronger results using DBS tools, analytics, and improved financial performance reporting.
Partners with key functional stakeholders (Controllers, Order to Cash, Source to Pay, Cash Leaders and other key process leaders) to champion and lead sustainable business process optimization activities
Leads cross-functional expert teams to prepare and successfully standup financial & business processes
Drives process harmonization, establishes standard work, and creates standard operating procedures for financial and business processes
Build & own kaizen action plans to ensure successful standup of financial & business processes as needed
Own landscaping of roles & responsibilities (RACI) across Finance function; identify duplication of responsibilities/roles & build plan for appropriate harmonization of responsibilities/roles
Establishes change management program for new project rollouts; including completing impact assessment for changes (what, why, who, how, degree of change) as well as escalate high-risk changes
Build change plans to ensure the necessary activities occur before, during and after change to deliver on outcomes
Gathers, compiles, and produces relevant analytics and dashboard for DHR financial reporting
Develops peer, cross-functional and cross-DHR Opco Business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness
Who you are
Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of business-related experience
Creative and intellectually curious demonstrating strong conceptual thinking skills
Quantitative and qualitative analytical and problem-solving skills supported by strong business acumen
Strong communicator, both verbal and written, to engage, influence and get buy-in from all levels of internal and external stakeholders
Strong work ethic with ability to manage and prioritize a diverse mix of issues, responsibilities, and challenges on a daily basis
Team orientation with highly developed cross-functional management skills
Demonstrates key leadership traits including integrity, adaptability, vision, judgment, courage and passion
Treats others with respect and earns trust
High degree of awareness and sensitivity to a diverse, global work environment
