As a member of the recently expanded Corporate Risk and Compliance department, theCompliance Administratorsupports the organization by performing key tasks for the coordination and tracking of data privacy and other compliance initiatives throughout the company globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates daily processing of privacy-related requests from Customers and Associates or questions from customers, vendors and Associates received via designated electronic mailboxes or other hard copy methods.

  • Tracks the status of requests and communicates/follow through with all relevant departments on outstanding or incomplete requests in a timely manner.

  • Coordinates the collection of documentation related to privacy requests from various departments or third-parties and responds/approves or prepares for supervisory review when required.

  • Utilizes technologies (e.g., the discovery tools in Office 365) to assist with the collection, sharing, and preservation of documentation as required.

  • Helps maintain TJX’s service-provider database and business process database.

  • Partners with stakeholders to execute processes, reviews and suggests process improvement opportunities as needed.

  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent

  • 1 year of office administrative or related experience

  • Works independently with minimal supervision in a team setting

  • Ability to multitask in a high volume, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

  • Strong and confident communication, attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent follow through and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with MS Office 365 Suite including Excel proficiency, MS Access a plus

  • Comfortable with Data/Order Entry and Math
