In addition to a project that will provide maximum experience and exposure in your desired field, the Hologic College Relations team provides opportunities to learn more about the company, network with leadership, and develop the skills needed to succeed in a global organization.

This co-op will work in the Product Engineering group of the Surgical division which focuses on Women’s Health, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, regulatory and field service. This is a close-knit enthusiastic team responsible for maintaining and growing the division’s portfolio of commercialized products. In this group, you may also have the opportunity to engage in product development of line extensions and post-launch product acquisitions.

The co-op will be involved in a wide range of activities including:

  • Designing tools and fixtures to facilitate testing, including fabrication using in-house 3D printers, machine shops, and rapid prototyping.

  • Root-cause analysis and solutions for field complaints and design-related manufacturing issues.

  • Design changes to existing products and development of line extensions.

  • Developing test procedures, execution of the testing and writing test reports.

  • Collaboration with Regulatory Affairs to provide compliance for new markets or changes in regulations.

We're looking for bright, inquisitive problem solvers who strive to make a difference. In order to be considered for this co-op you must:

  • Be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and have at least one semester left after co-op

  • Rising Junior or Senior

  • Majoring in: Electrical Engineering

  • Have a 3.2/4.0 GPA

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with power supplies, multimeters, waveform generators, oscilloscopes.

  • Experience with C/C++ programming, soldering, troubleshooting electrical circuits

  • Test method/procedure development and technical report writing
