What You’ll Get to Do:

Analog/Mixed-Signal ASIC Group intern

  • ASIC analog/mixed-signal circuit simulation

  • ASIC analog/mixed-signal circuit design

  • ASIC analog circuit layout

What You’ll Bring:

Possible Functions and Responsibilities

  • Participate in the ASIC design process from architectural concept through tape-out and characterization

  • Learn and apply standard best practices for analog/mixed-signal ASIC design

  • Simulate (and change design, if necessary) existing ASIC circuits for automotive compliance

  • Develop VerilogA/AMS or Simulink behavioral models for ASIC building blocks

  • Develop and/or oversee physical design of new ASIC circuits

Basic Qualifications – please cover the following areas:

  • Graduate student in electrical engineering (MS or PhD)

  • Thesis work towards a topic related to ASIC analog/mixed-signal design is preferred

  • Candidate should be self-motivated and a great team player

Panasonic Boston Laboratory (PBL) of Panasonic R&D Company of America, a division of Panasonic Corporation of North America, conducts advanced research and development in the area of optical devices and systems and laser processing applications for the consumer and industrial markets.
