Position: Quality Control Lead

Pay Rate: $17-20/hour

Shift: Mon-Fri 7PM-7AM

Location: Mansfield MA

Terms of Employment: Direct-Hire

The Quality Control Lead will assist production by being a go to resource when Quality issues arise. The lead assures that the Quality area operates efficiently and in compliance with the Company s Quality Management System and Safe Quality Food SQF requirements to ensure that product specifications are met.

Responsibilities:

Direct the activities of Quality Control personnel assigned to the work area.

Create and implement inspector documentation as needed during the shift.

Notify the Quality Manager or shift Supervisor when there are production or material issues that adversely affect the flow of product through manufacturing.

Support shift Supervisor as needed to ensure maximum productivity.

Ensure that all quality check procedures are followed.

Create comprehensive documentation for quality issues and note the corrective actions.

Comply with applicable quality system and GMP requirements.

Support the Initial First Article Inspection process and perform visual and mechanical inspections of samples, when needed.

Identify and support continuous improvement efforts with the Quality Manager.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Associates Degree preferred.

2+ years of Quality experience, Quality Management /SQF and ISO experience.

Analytical skills and ability to problem solve.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Good Mathematical skills Microsoft Office Suite skills word and excel.

Thermoforming process and equipment experience a plus Bi-lingual Spanish/ English a plus.

Measurement skills, micrometer/calipers/comparator.

Able to stand for an extended period and travel to between multi site building within the same industrial park.
