Cardinal Health Program Manager, Third-Party Risk Management (Remote) in Mansfield, Massachusetts

The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for the global, direct-material supplier risk management program for Cardinal Health Medical Segment. Reporting to the Director of Risk Management, the PM will lead the ongoing development and execution of supplier risk management processes including supplier risk assessment, due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and issues management. The PM will work closely with manufacturing facilities and sourcing teams to improve supply chain continuity and resilience.

This position will be responsible for leading any future technology platform deployment and is a remote role.

Accountabilities

  • Lead activities and guide staff responsible for the third-party risk management office for the direct material supply chain
  • Develop, deploy, and improve supplier risk management processes
  • Work cross-functionally with leaders responsible for risk domains such as: Ethics & Compliance, Global Trade, Responsible Procurement, and Quality.
  • Work closely with direct material procurement to assess risk and inform the supplier evaluation process.
  • Lead the expansion of third-party risk by scaling suppliers, risk domains, and additional third parties
  • Integrate leading practices into risk management programs and policies
  • Coach others through the development of advanced risk management strategies
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies based on impact, persistence, and resiliency
  • Facilitate escalations, and work closely with the Director to involve appropriate cross functional stakeholders
  • Provide data analysis, create management reports, KPIs, and year-over-year targets.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of combined global supply chain experience in supplier risk management, direct material sourcing, and manufacturing.
  • Demonstrates collaboration, problem solving, and conflict management skills to ensure a productive work environment and achievement of objectives.
  • Strong communication skills with experience working with suppliers and cross-functional colleagues internationally.
  • High level of confidentiality and accountability, while being proactive with a bias for action.
  • Ability to work within a remote environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • A Covid-19 vaccination is required in order to be employed in this position. This includes either:- 2 doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine- 1 dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine
