Cardinal Health Program Manager, Strategic Commercialization in Mansfield, Massachusetts

What Program/Project Mgmt. contributes to Cardinal Health

This position will be mainly responsible for parting with the global portfolio marketing team to managing large-scale, strategic commercialization projects and programs (i.e., Private label, Market Expansion, Exits, Business Development) with multi-functional and global core teams. This position will also include participating in/leading special projects (i.e., Portfolio prioritization, Business/Organizational Alignment, Business Case Development). Responsibilities include the planning of all project activities, synchronization of Core Team efforts, and management of the overall project schedule, scope, resource requirements and project budget, risk management, and progress reporting to senior leadership.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional┬«) Certification a plus
  • A minimum of 4+ years related work experience required
  • Experience working in a regulated environment desired (medical, automotive, government)
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of business systems (marketing, selling, inventory management, distribution management, legal contracts)
  • Strong understanding of market sizing/segmentation, business case development and financial analysis
  • Expert-level Microsoft Project
  • Understanding and evidence of employing standard project management tools and approaches:

  • Scope development and management (guardrail identification)

  • Schedule development/management (critical path focused)
  • Resource prioritization and management to ensure efficient management of the critical path
  • Risk identification, management, and implementation of corrective actions
  • Manage projects via a stage-gate process
  • Strong influence, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated strong planning and organizational skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills

  • Travel up to 15%. (Domestic and International)
  • May require early morning or evening calls at times as we work with global teams
