Emerson Nuclear Value Stream Manager in Mansfield, Massachusetts

Located in Mansfield, MA, this role involves coordinating and leading all aspects of activities within the Nuclear Value Stream, ensuring alignment with key success factors including Safety, Quality, Timely Delivery, Lead-time, and Cost/Inventory Management.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Establish a safe and productive work environment through consistent enforcement of safety policies, hazard identification, and continual improvement initiative.

  • Manage the Master Scheduling and Production Planning of Nuclear orders.

  • Maintain overall ownership and management of the nuclear order backlog.

  • Collaborate with the Master Scheduler, Materials Process Manager, and Supply Chain Manager to manage inventory levels in alignment with company directives while supporting customer needs.

  • Coordinate production and delivery schedules with Project Management and Nuclear Contracts in support of customer needs.

  • Proactively provide updates and communications to Nuclear Contracts and Project Management to support customer service activities.

  • Collaborate with supporting departments, including QA, Purchasing, Engineering, and Manufacturing to support delivery schedules and customer needs.

  • Identify and implement action plans to support expedite and late order recovery strategies.

  • Build and implement tactical plans to achieve business objectives.

  • Coordinate and connect with all levels of the organization, including formal and informal presentations.

  • Determine the skill gaps of subordinates, develop proper training programs, provide proper constructive feedback, and maintain accurate resource alignment.

  • Provide direct supervision of the Planners and Master Scheduler.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • 5 years of experience in a production planning, order scheduling, or related role

  • Experience working with sophisticated MRP/ERP systems. Oracle experience is a plus!

  • Minimum of 3 years of people management experience

  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • BS degree in Engineering, Business, or relevant field

  • Ability to optimally apply interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships through cross-departmental collaboration.

  • APICS certification

  • Manufacturing experience

  • Nuclear ASME Sec III knowledge

  • Nuclear Power Generation proven experience
