Position Purpose:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in industrial settings, including motors, transformers, generators, and control systems.

  • Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify and diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.

  • Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.

  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting electrical components to ensure optimal performance.

  • Test electrical systems and equipment using various tools and instruments to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and technicians, to plan and execute electrical projects and installations.

  • Follow electrical codes, regulations, and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment and prevent accidents or hazards.

  • Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and installations, including documenting electrical diagrams, schematics, and procedures.

  • Stay updated with industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices in industrial electrical systems.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and components.

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.

  • Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety guidelines.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Certification/Licenses/Training:

  • Valid electrician license or certification.
