An ADS Professional Fleet Driver is the link between our company and our customers. We are looking for professional drivers who can deliver the highest level of customer service while maintaining an obsessive focus on safety and personal success.

This role offers competitive mileage pay, drop pay, quarterly safety incentives, as well as a $5,000 sign on bonus.

ADS is a dedicated carrier that pays empty and loaded miles, and no slip seeding.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Participate in ALL online and in person safety training programs

  • Perform all required safety checks (i.e. pre/post trip) including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations; inspect tractor/truck and trailer to insure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed. Report all safety issues and/or repairs required.\

  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies. Immediately report any and all safety hazards.

  • Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight. Perform count check of items and check customer BOLs of products that have been loaded and delivered. Check and complete in an accurate and in legible fashion all required paperwork associated with freight.

  • Manage safe unloading at delivery destination and place product in customer’s desired location

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily paperwork. (BOL discrepancies,trip envelope, RMA’s)

  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational capacity

  • Adhere to company and departmental policies

  • Have a desire to make a difference every day and be able to interact with customers daily

  • Be able to work well in a team environment and colloborate with other drivers

  • Provide continuous improvement feedback on your daily tasks that can help overall operation

  • Understand and practice ADS CORE VALUES

Experience:

  • One year verifiable Class A OTR experience and/or 100,000 miles driven with reliable carrier.

  • Preferably a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years

  • Class A Commerical Driver's License (CDL)

Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) that is applicable for the type of commercial equipment being operated

  • Must meet/or exceed physical standards of the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administrations (FMCSA) and ADS

  • Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record from all states where prior licenses where held

  • Must be at least 21 years of age (DOT requirement for interstate operation)

  • Must satisfactory pass all required drug tests

  • Must pass ADS road test
