Rapid Micro Biosystems Sales Operations Manager in Lowell, Massachusetts
The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for the processes, tools, and technologies that support the Sales and Marketing teams at Rapid Micro Biosystems. You are expected to work collaboratively across different functions, to provide guidance on tools and resources which help the sales team in tracking customers, driving lead generation, track sales, etc.
Specifically, you will include provide guidance on market trends, sales and data reporting, analytics, sales force optimization and productivity, vendor and budget management, and sales incentive compensation administration, training/onboarding new sales teams. This position reports to the Director Sales Enablement.
Ensures sales strategy and teams are aligned to grow market penetration and maximizes effectiveness of the sales force.
Creates unique models and methods for business understanding, forecasting, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Develops KPIs and dashboards using effective analysis of sales force trends and performance to identify successes, gaps, efficiencies and productivity.
Manages all sales data reporting/analytics, including management of Salesforce.com and Hubspot.
Works closely with support functions to ensure alignment with sales force goals/objectives, while maximizing effectiveness of the sales force.
Measures sales force use of established strategies and tactics, identifies needed revisions.
Demonstrates expertise in positioning (targeting, value proposition, and point of differentiation) and its application to driving business results.
Understands how marketing strategy and tactics drive sales and profit. Links marketing metrics to core business strategy
Delivers sales operations related presentations to the sales organization.
Identify needs and develops learning experiences by leveraging innovative approaches to deliver training.
Partners in the development and delivery of sales training programs that support the promotion of Rapid Micro Biosystem?s products. Defines the appropriate training content for the commercial organization and helps ensure successful implementation of that content.
Suggests solutions that align with the strategic priorities of the overall organization.
Bachelor?s degree in business, marketing, science or related field
Advanced degree or MBA preferred
7+ years of sales operations experience required and preferred in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry
5+ years leadership experience, strategy development, and training development & delivery.
5+ years using Salesforce.com or CRM experience
Experience conducting statistical analyses
Identifies gaps/opportunities in the current business model and develops improved research methods or processes to fill the gap
In depth knowledge of Sales Operations technologies, models, and analyses
Advance Excel skills required
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Works cross functionally with all departments to ensure operational alignment
