Part Time Customer Service Representative Dutton Street, Lowell, MA 0185 location Position 27-28 hours from 1:30 to 6pm Position Summary: High volume call center focusing on telephone communication with home delivery subscribers to ensure customer satisfaction for our Northeast newspapers (The Sun, Sentinel & Enterprise, Boston Herald, Kingston Daily Freeman, Oneida Daily Dispatch, Troy Record and The Saratogian.) Position Responsibilities: - Entering new subscriptions - Processing vacation stops and starts. - Serves as 'customer advocate' for all delivery problems and acts as liaison between customer and our company. Follow through with all delivery problems; including, but not limited to entering system complaints, calling carriers, communication with district managers, assignment of re-deliveries. - Entering system corrections for carrier and customer information as needed. - Follow-up with customers to ensure problem situations have been resolved. - Projecting a positive image in presentation of customer service. - Possess and express confidence to overcome objections in preventing customer dissatisfaction and/or possible cancellation. - Follow through with offering alternate types of delivery service as needed. - Daily clerical paperwork and filing of reports as they are completed. - Informing manager about issues or concerns of customer satisfaction and follow through as needed. - Any other duties assigned by manager. Position Requirements: - Appreciate the importance of customer satisfaction and make-it-happen attitude. - Excellent oral communication skills needed. - ? Basic Math skills. - Basic knowledge of computers is necessary. - Outstanding accountability needed for problem solving. - Ability to work independently ? with little supervision -- but in a team environment. - Attention to detail and accuracy is mandatory. - Weekend hours required. - Previous call center experience preferred. - Dependability is a must.
