The Americas Service Operations Quality Senior Manager has the exciting opportunity to work across the entire Medtronic product portfolio to impact both current and future patients. You will be part of the Americas Quality and Regulatory Affairs team partnering with our various operating units, the enterprise and its functions, the manufacturing networks, and the other regions in Medtronic.
A Day in the Life
Every day is different in this role including the following responsibilities: Managing the quality processes for Service Operations (also referred to as Service Repair) for the US-based sites of Littleton, MA, Louisville, CO, Fort Worth, TX, and Jacksonville, FL. The role will require partnership with multiple cross functional partners and require clear communication and ability to influence up and execute change management within sites You will work closely with the site managers for our Israel sites and our Plainfield, IN site to ensure a consistent experience for our customers You will ensure the successful execution of audits and CAPAs and provide expertise and guidance in interpreting internal and external regulations Recruit, hire, develop, and manage engineering and quality team members. Actively assure the retention, recognition, and development of team members throughout the organization. Manage talent and pipeline of team. Develop successional plans and ensure the next generation of technical and people leaders are coached and exposed to strong opportunities for growth. Other responsibilities may include, as capacity allows: Lead organizational process improvement projects, cross-functional business improvement teams, and develop shared best practices to drive functional excellence
Must Have: Minimum Qualifications
Requires broad management knowledge to lead project teams in one department.
Typically has mastery level knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the job function.
Core Quality Services, Strategic Program Manager 2
Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience.
