Job Overview:
As a Supply Chain Materials Planner II, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's supply chain operations to ensure that materials are procured and delivered on time, at the right quality, and quantity. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that production schedules are met and that inventory levels are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
What you will do
Develop and execute material planning strategies to ensure on-time delivery of materials at the right quantity and quality.
Monitor and analyze inventory levels through SAP ERP system to ensure that they are in line with the production schedule
Collaborate with Global Procurement Team to ensure Suppliers meet the company's quality standards and delivery requirements
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Manufacturing Operations to ensure that the production material needs are met
Manage and resolve any issues related to material availability or quality release & testing
Client facing with cross-functional teams to ensure that production schedules are met and that inventory levels are maintained.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the supply chain operation
Continuously improve the supply chain operation by implementing best practices, process improvements, and automation
Qualifications:
How you will get here
high school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related fieldp referred
3 years of experience in materials planning or supply chain management
Strong knowledge of supply chain operations and processes
Experience with ERP systems and material planning software
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong project management skills
APICS certification is a plus
