Solidus is searching for a Hardware Systems Engineer. The successful candidates will join a group that performs systems engineering tasks for all phases of prototype systems development, from early design studies to final sell-off. They will provide support systems engineering tasks from the design phase through testing and will support technical Staff in systems engineering activities on a variety of programs. Responsibilities: * Development and flowdown * Correlating functional and physical decomposition of the problem * Interface specification and management * Environmental specification * Planning for and execution of the assembly * Integration and test phase and the verification and validation efforts. The candidate will be expected to - develop and expand a SysML model, using the MagicDraw tool. Required Skills: * US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Clearance * Bachelor's Degree + 3 years of Systems Engineering experience 1+ years of experience with the following: * Model based systems engineering * SysML experience Prefferred Skills: 1+ years of experience with the following: * Hardware and Software Integration * Magic draw * Systems engineering on space systems * Systems engineering with optical systems * Systems Integration * Systems Modeling Req ID - 4054 Applicants selected must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
