MIT Lincoln Laboratory Engineering Assistant in Lexington, Massachusetts
The Laser Technology and Applications Group seeks an individual specialized in the operation and development of laser and electro-optic systems. Applications of these systems include directed energy, lidar, science, sensing, and others that impact national security. The candidate will cooperate with a multi-disciplinary team in various aspects of construction, testing, and characterization of optical systems.
Requirements: BS in engineering or physical science. In lieu of a BS, an individual with 5 or more years directly related experience will be considered. Candidates should be interested in continuing to learn and in expanding their abilities and skills while undertaking challenging problems. Highly proficient laboratory skills, and the ability to work individually and collaboratively as part of a team are all essential.
