Rapid Micro Biosystems is looking for a Channel Manager, Content to drive the strategic thinking and execution of content development across core areas of the business - marketing, website, publishing and social channels. The Channel Manager, Content will lead all aspects of content strategy for the company, including working closely with the key subject matter experts (scientists, product management and manufacturing) to guide the creation of compelling content including blog posts, bylines, whitepapers, infographics, video scripts, case studies, mechanism of action, website content, and brochure to actively engage customers, stakeholders and to generate high quality leads. The ideal candidate comes with a proven track record of developing content programs that deliver increased engagement and leads across various marketing, sales and other communication channels. This position requires the ability to manage timelines, apply creativity, and data insights to develop comprehensive content programs across various channels. Responsibilities

  • Act as the content leader within the organization. Develop a thorough understanding of key aspects of the business and products to be able to develop high quality content across all business use cases and customer segments

  • Assimilate and convey product benefits and broader value propositions in a concise and effective manner.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to represent the organizational and product capabilities in the content across key channels and platforms

  • Own the development of guidelines for the editorial tone, style and voice of the content across core channels (website, campaigns, publications, social)

  • Help create thought leadership content, including but not limited to - blog posts, social media posts, whitepapers, infographic content, video scripts, case studies, newsletters, website content, brochures, etc.

  • Develop and manage a content marketing calendar that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery of content throughout the year

  • Perform regular content audits to ensure all content is up to date and to identify opportunities for new content.

  • Work across the organization to ensure that content and messaging are consistent and accurate across channels and within the brand standards

  • Proofread content and edit content produced by other members of the team


  • 8+ years of copywriting experience. Prior experience in scientific or biotechnology content development preferred but broader B2B experience acceptable

  • Understanding of applying journey-based content strategies in Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and other marketing/sales frameworks

  • Candidates should enjoy working in a team environment and must work collaboratively with others

  • Able to work under pressure, while managing multiple deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Expert level attention to detail

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Biotech, or life sciences-related field is required

  • Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing, and social media channels

  • Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
