Aerotek Assembly Technician in Lexington, Massachusetts


•Hands-on assemble and test complex modules and bench top instruments, producing quality instrumentation that consistently exceeds customer and regulatory expectations.

•Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical assemblies, working independently and efficiently, maximizing quality product generation in a regulated environment.

•Provide feedback and advice on design changes for “Design For Manufacturing” (DFM).

•Produce compliant device history records in a regulated environment.


Build, Assemble, Troubleshoot, Test, Testing, Instrumentation, IVD, Diagnostic, Mechanical, Electrical, Design, DFM, Manufacturing, Medical Device, ISO13485, FDA

Industry Experience:

5+ years industry experience within the manufacturing/production environment, preferably in a small company/start-up setting with FDA / ISO regulations.

•Must have mechanical aptitude with precise dexterity

•Extensive experience with precision bearings, shop presses and fixtures to aid in assembly.

•An understanding of tight tolerances, and precision assembly aided by dial indicators and digital calipers
