Seeking a Mechanical Applications Engineer for a high growth custom commercial and residential HVAC development client in the Fitchburg, MA area.

The Applications Engineer would be responsible for designing custom process cooling systems for commercial projects as well as retrofits and expansions of previous systems. The Engineer would work closely with the sales dept, engineering, project managers, vendors and other departments to exceed customer expectations.

• Evaluate customers' needs, design solutions and select equipment to achieve desired results.

• Design systems to meet customer requirements, with an emphasis on performance, reliability, energy efficiency and water conservation.

• Prepare job costs and customer proposals.

• Perform detailed energy and water use analysis.

• Occasional domestic travel to customer sites.
