CMM Metrology Technician (Leominster, MA)

Our client, a manufacturer of Medical, Medical Technology and other Plastic equipment, is currently a Metrology Technician (Strong in Zeiss). This role is Contact to Hire (need is urgent, client prefers a Contract to Hire method for ease in onboarding). Only Quality Personnel interested in full-time, direct employment should apply.

Responsibilities:

Use a variety of metrology instruments from simple hand tools to CMM to gather dimensional data.

Support Quality and Engineering teams in the validation of new products/processes

Create/modify/execute CMM programs.

Train/mentor Quality Inspectors to support CMM use for production.

Conduct Measurement System Analyses.

Identify and drive improvements in measurement standards and methods.

Qualifications:

The right person for this role needs to have some experience in programming, must have exp. Zeiss /CMM.

Technician will need to write protocols and processes; products are 50% injection molding, then the rest, some machining, silicon molding and assemble (experience in these areas critical).

ISO 9001 and13485 knowledge.

Some process development experience will be needed, candidate must have medical device exp., validation, and equipment validation knowledge.
