Microchip Technology Production Specialist in Lawrence, Massachusetts
Operator will be responsible to build extremely small, metal product devices with the use of vacuum pick-up tool. Will position to mount moly, solder clad moly, solder preform or chip into solder fixtures. Once individual piece parts are in place, solder fixtures are fed into belt furnace. Selected candidate will also perform production process monitoring by using measurement tools & datalyzer chart, SPC. This is a very precise, detailed assembly process. Excellent visual capability is required to easily see semiconductor and topography of die, without the use of a microscope.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Understand written & verbal procedures and instructions in English.
Basic computer experience or ability to learn.
Ability to meet minimum quality & quantity standards.
Must maintain a very good attendance record.
Must have the ability to work individually or as member of a team in a fast paced environment.
Must interact in a professional manner.
Apply acquired job skills and follow company policies, practices and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
Other duties as assigned.
A minimum of 3 years solid work experience in a high paced manufacturing environment.
High School diploma, GED or equivalent education/experience.
Excellent visual capability to work with extremely small die, without magnification devices.
Excellent manual dexterity and patience for repetitive work.
Experience using tweezers, vacuum pencils, etc.
Good English verbal/written communication skills.
