The Position is Remote with Travel and a candidate can reside in the following Countries: Germany, US, Philippines, or Poland.

Position Overview & Purpose:

Tasks

The Global Transfer Pricing Strategies function is part of Fresenius Medical Care's Center of Excellence Global Tax. The (Senior) Manager Transfer Pricing Strategies is part of a global team of transfer pricing experts and reports to the Head of Global Transfer Pricing Strategies. The role includes the following activities:

  • Further development of existing global transfer pricing guidelines as well as the master file and the local file templates

  • Preparation of legally required transfer pricing documentation

  • National and international project work in the field of transfer pricing

  • Support of the operational areas in the development and implementation of transfer pricing systems for services and goods deliveries in close cooperation with Controlling

  • Participation in business reorganizations and cross-border business transfer projects as well as new business models and investments

  • Support of local tax functions as well as the Tax Audit & Controversy function in tax transfer pricing audits

  • Participation in the initiation of Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs) and in mutual agreement procedures

  • Business Partnering for the operational TP Controllers in the regions/countries and for certain global functions

  • Proactive monitoring of national and international legislative changes in the field of transfer pricing

Profile

  • Successfully completed studies in economics or law

  • Several years of professional experience (at least 3 years) in a similar position in an international group or at an auditing/tax consulting firm

  • Successfully completed tax consultant examination in Germany or comparable examination abroad is an advantage

  • Very good knowledge of German and international tax law

  • Analytical thinking and understanding of complex relationships as well as solution-oriented work

  • Very good PC application knowledge (MS Office)

  • Independent and structured way of working as well as teamwork

  • Project management skills and experience in a multinational environment

  • German and English fluent in spoken and written, other foreign languages are an advantage
