Essential Job Functions

• Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic background with some form of technical education.

• Ability to work safely, promote safe operations, and contribute to a culture of safety and quality.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic drawings.

• Strong trouble shooting ability and problem-solving skills.

• Basic understanding of PLC and HMI systems

• Experienced in the use of test equipment such as voltage and amp meters.

• Knowledge of basic electrical code and wiring practices.

• Must have basic metal fabrication experience, welding, cutting, and machining.

Additional Job Responsibilities

• Ability to manage projects and repairs as directed by Management.

• Ability to control and re-order essential equipment parts and supplies.

• Repairs to Building infrastructure and grounds.

• Maintain Housekeeping and 5S+1 standards throughout the facility and grounds.

Requirements

• Must read, write, and speak English.

• Trade school or min. of 5 years relevant work experience

• At least 18 years of age

• Valid drivers license

• Licensed forklift driver

• Ability to influence and direct other employees.

• May be required to work “off shift” hours to include weekends and Holidays.

• Ability to communicate department inventory or replenishment needs

• Strong inter-personal communication skills

• Basic computer skill

Environment

• Capable of working standing up for 8 to 10 hours per day

• Capable of working in a rubber molding environment

• Capable of lifting 40 pounds
